There is no transfer stamp, but the following is required:

Seller

  • Pay for the Compliance Inspection.
  • Pay for a new water meter.
  • Schedule a final water meter reading within three days of closing and pay for final bill.
  • Provide a copy of the Plat of Survey.
  • Provide the completed Forms 3500 and 4000 (completed by Buyer).
  • Pay for any payments owed for release of lien.

Buyer

  • If there is an escrow owed to the village, pay before the transfer stamp is issued.
  • Complete Form 3500 and have it notarized. This form is a declaration of the
  • understanding of the number of legal, prescribed units in this housing.
  • Complete Form 4000 for new water service.
